Another awesome week

Da Boys!!! this is photo of that me and Elder Ludeman, another elder in our house, it is us. I drew the dinosaurs he drew everything else.

Well its been another awesome week down here in Georgia!! It rains alot down here also, but I love it! Everything is just peachy... haha get it because I'm in Georgia... not one of best....

Anyways it been great me and Elder Webb have been doing some good work!! We have been teaching some really cool cats down here, one of them is named Miguel he is a really cool guy, and really open about everything which helps alot when we are teaching people!! The only problem is the guy he lives with isn't as open and wanted to bible bash one night! So I had my first bible bash experience, except it was in Spanish I was really of no help at all... I could understand what was going on, but I couldn't back up Elder Webb.

We are also teaching this 82 year old man named Jack who at first you think he is really mean and blunt, but once you get to know him he is like a teddy bear, he is just very sarcastic, his wife is LDS, he doesn't like to be pushed, so it has taken awhile for him to get as far as he is, but we are hoping for a baptism! We are teaching a lady and her mom, they are both really nice and today we are teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ!

This Friday we went over to this little chicken shack that is owned by members so we get it for free, but man was that greasiest thing on the planet..... I felt pretty sick afterwards..haha!

I'm planning on writing you all by letter, but who knows when I'll be able to get around to that.. haha hopefully soon. Anyways love you guys and hope for the best!!!

I'm in Savannah!!!!!!! it is so pretty and green down here, so many trees! and I'm having a great time, the mission field is way better than the MTC!

I'm staying in this small house down a small dirt road, but it is really cool I'm not sure what the address is, but you can find out and you should look it up on google maps or something!

Anyways that is where I will be for the next six weeks, hopefully longer! you should definitely forward my emails to Tanner! There is really nothing I don't like about my mission every one down here is really nice, the only thing I have a problem with is speaking Spanish it is super hard to do... and it can be kinda scary to knock doors,

but like my shirt says "FEAR IS FOR OTHERS" that has become my new favorite quote because it is sometimes scary to think about what lies ahead in life, but I have to keep reminding myself that I shouldn't be scared, God is with me.

I am having a really great time meeting all these different people with all these different stories, it widens my view of this world, its pretty great!
I don't have to ride a bike in this zone, in fact I really there are only two Spanish speaking areas where I will have to us a bike. We spend most of our time in trailer parks, because that is were the majority of Spanish speakers are, it is pretty awesome!! Me and my companion are working with a lot of people who have a good potential to get baptized its super exciting! anyways it sounds like all is well at home, love you guys!!!
I have been fed at least three times and the food was great! Everyone I've met down here is very nice and great cooks! I met this new convert the other day his name is Carlos, he is a nut! he is 89 years old and still kickin', he rides a motor cycle everywhere and he is way funny/crazy haha!

He made it!

This is just a short note to let you know that your missionary arrived in the Georgia Macon Mission safely.  Today is such a long day for them that I will be sending out only a group photo today.  You will receive an individual photo of your missionary with President and Sister Cottle on Wednesday.  Everyone was in good spirits and  anxious for dinner since they had been up since about 3 am already.  Tomorrow they will find out where they are assigned and who their first companion in the field will be.  But for now…

Good night,

Sister Sperlein

Mexico City Temple

I've got alot of photos to send! We went to the Mexico City temple visitors center today!!! We couldn't go into the temple because of construction, but still a really cool experience!!! It kind of reminds me of one of those ancient Aztec temples! And sorry if some of the words are spelled wrong because the spell check on this computer only works in spanish haha!! oh and I forgot to tell you 5 weeks ago that one of the guys in my district was an officer at woods cross he said he knew Marrisa!!! His name is Elder Petterson, he is a pretty sweet kid! I can't wait for Hermana Yost gets down here, I'm super excited! My fun story this week is that I found Narnia!!!!!! On saterday we had alot of time to do stuff because we had to fast during dinner so as a district we went for a walk around the CCM because it is really big and we wanted to check out this forest! As we ventured into the forest we found this random light post it reminded me of Narnia! I'm starting rereading the New Testiment it is a better read than I remember!! Love you Guys!!!!

Dos Semanas!!!

Dos Semanas!!! I can't wait to get into the field, but I'm going to miss some of the guys in my district.. I can't wait for Becca to get here!! It will be nice to see a familiar face! I hope and pray that Alan will be alright. My Spanish is coming along it gets better and better every day! and yes I have received  the packages thanks!!

I wish I could have been at the cabin. I miss not going to the cabin too, but when ever I start missing something or someone the spirit whispers a song into my head see if you know what it's from "when the road looks tough ahead, and your miles and miles from your nice warm bed, you just remember what your old pal said, you've got a friend in me." Every time this happens my testimony grows in two different ways, the first; God loves me and will never let me go! and second; He is a fan of Toy Story! haha I've almost always know that God won't let me fall, but never as much as here!!
The MTC just gets better and better, but I want out!!

My district has a hard time staying focused and studying (I think its because we have no hermanas (sisters) in our district) and so we had to  have a district meeting on how we can get better and one of guys in my district pulled out a couple of verses that helped me a lot, Ecl. 3:1-11. you probably know what I'm talking about, but good verses none the less!

Yes, I take time to breathe every day when I'm praying at night, when ever I pray at night this overwhelming sense of peace come over me.

Hope your doing well! love you guys a lot!!!
Love,
Elder Allen
