I was reading in 2 Nephi: 11 "behold all ye that kindle fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks, walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks which ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand--- Ye shall lie down in sorrow." it is one of the Isaiah chapters and at first I didn't understand because Isaiah is really confusing, but the more I thought about it, the more I came to realize that I can't do this alone, I can't teach the gospel with my fire alone. I have to rely on the Lord to fuel my fire!   

 

Sounds like your having a blast Tressa I'm glad!!! I left more presents (spiders) for you in your room I hope you like them!!! hahahaha I love the twistables that I bought!

Love you guys I am going to play volleyball again today against another district we are playing for the computer room in our building!!!! Whoever loses has to walk to a different computer room that is 5 mins away!! Wish us luck!

Explanation to this drawing it is a creation me and two others made I drew the head my companion made the body and another guy in my district drew the legs we've done this at least 16 times, but this one is my favorite.

Air Jordan Volleyball

To answer your questions, the food is alright, it is really good or really bad so most of the time I go for cereal and toast. My companion is from California. My teachers are awesome! There are four in my district, including me, going to Georgia and the rest are going to New Mexico! Spanish is hard, but I'm getting it pretty fast! The first few nights were pretty bad, but now I'm sleeping great! We have to run to circles if there is an emergency. For gym we play volleyball and p-day is the best day ever! I have laughed so hard that I cried. It was when my district played a game where we can't smile and show our teeth, but we have to make the other people laugh by saying pterodactyl or screeching sounds, we have no hermanas (sisters) in our district so we can play games like that. It rains almost every day pretty hard too but I love it!

First P-day

Thanks for the photos! They are not the greatest of me, but thanks! The first couple of days were probably the most mentally stressful days of my entire life! It was so hard just getting adjusted and getting over the home sickness, while I was listening to music the song that says "some poor struggling seaman you may rescue you may save" came on by the lower lights and I couldn't hold back the tears, but by Saturday I started feeling more and more comfortable because me and my companion, Elder Garcia, got to know each other a lot better. He reminds me of Drew Higgins and Tanner Welton a little! I also really connected to my district! There are two elders in my district who remind me of Nate and CJ a lot too their names are Elder Olsen and Elder Olson. There is another Elder named Elder Peterson who reminds me of Johnathan here are some photos!
